Bio

Board leader and former public company CEO with decades of experience building resilient industrial, manufacturing, and technology-enabled businesses.

Kevin Longe is a distinguished board leader and former public company CEO with decades of experience building resilient industrial, manufacturing, and technology-enabled businesses that embrace innovation and change. He brings a unique holistic perspective grounded in his ability to deliver significant revenue and EBITDA growth, reducing complexity during downturns, and positioning businesses for premium exits. Kevin serves as a trusted voice in the boardroom, guiding organizations to prioritize operating margin over revenues.

Kevin's board-level distinction is rooted in his unwavering commitment to long-term value creation over short-term profit pursuit. Throughout his career, Kevin has developed and applied a clear set of principles: downturns present the optimal window for technology investment; performance depends on deep alignment with customers, suppliers, and employees; strategy must be embedded at every level of the organization; and sustained shareholder value is created through deliberate investment in technology, product innovation, and market development.

With a talent for mobilizing global teams, institutionalizing disciplined processes, and ensuring accountability from vision through delivery, Kevin consistently aligns strategy with execution. Additionally, his hands-on operating experience leading complex, enterprisewide transformations distinguishes him from his peers. Through prior executive leadership roles, Kevin has showcased his ability to translate complex market dynamics, risk profiles, and capital allocation decisions into effective governance oversight. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of DMC Global (NASDAQ: BOOM), where he repositioned a fragmented portfolio into a high-margin global enterprise, expanded EBITDA sevenfold, grew revenue from $150M to $700M, and delivered strong total shareholder returns through capital allocation, innovation investment, and strategic acquisitions.

Having transitioned from an enterprise-scale CEO role into board service, Kevin currently serves as chairman of Terra Cotta Pasta Co. Dover and as a member of the facilities committee for the Sun Valley Museum of Art. He holds a Master of Management in Marketing with honors from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, a Bachelor of Business Administration with honors from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, and an Executive Education Program certification from Stanford Law School Directors' College.
